Enables
users to keep the flexibility they require while reaping
the benefit of using a more industrial strength database
such as SQL.
Integrity SQL provides
all of the features of the IntegrityUltra system,
but enables the Access front end to talk seamlessly to
a SQL back end. It reduces staff workload by
automating the import, processing and export of data. It
allows for data validation and conversion on import and
full traceability of numbers, even when they are summarized.
It uses NT/domain security as well as Access security. Unauthorized users can
not gain access. All changes to data are logged.
Lowest
level
transactions
are traceable
no matter how many times they were summarized. Each step
of every process is logged to aid process understanding
and documentation. Information is logged for every rule
showing the number of records
selected and the number changed. It allows for significantly
larger volumes of data than standard Access databases.
Where necessary, data is
written to a SQL database.
Benefits

and export of data
Imports and exports a variety of file formats
Allows for data validation and conversion on import
Import and export definition is point and click
Allows for full traceability of numbers, even when
they are summarized
Uses NT/domain security as well as Access security
Allows for significantly larger volumes of data than
standard Access databases
Users with Access skills can still use and maintain
the system front end.
Results
Users can only gain access to forms and functions in
which they've been authorized.
Unauthorized users cannot gain access.
All changes to imports, exports, forms, functions, rules,
schema and data are logged.
Lowest level transactions are traceable no matter how
many times they are summarized.
Summary numbers are traceable back to their lowest level
transactions.
Imports and exports run unattended at whatever time or
frequency is defined.
Each step of every process is logged to aid process
understanding and documentation.
Information is logged for every rule showing the number
of records selected and the number changed.
Where necessary, data is written to a SQL database.
